Synergy
Inspired by the representation of nature and the noble materials used during the Art Deco period, master leatherworker Pierre and fellow Cristina worked together in Pierre’s Alsace workshop to craft a mirror with a frame comprised of four movable discs decorated with leather. Each disc moves on a hinge to create a 3D structure that takes up 1m3 of space. The leather is intricately applied using marquetry and sheathing in an organic pattern, creating an opulent statement piece that can be displayed on a pedestal.
